The individual participation fee includes:

The individual participation fee DOES NOT include:

A 30% deposit is required for bookings involving overnight stays. A DEPOSIT will also be asked at the students upon arrival at the resort.
Upon request, the TC Valbonella is available to organize the return transport service from the place of origin with an agreed price.

  • VALBONELLA’S EDUCATIONAL POND:

    excursion at the small lake with a theoretical and practical lesson on the flora and fauna that inhabit it.

  • THE NATIONAL FOREST OF CASENTINO FORESTS:

    historical, landscape and naturalistic aspects.

  • GUIDED NATURALISTIC EXCURSION:

    in the surrounding forests and woods with direct observation of the spontaneous plants in bloom (herbaceous and arboreal) and the native fauna;

  • NATURALISTIC GUIDED NIGHT TOUR:

    the sounds of the woods, the nocturnal animals, the stars and the constellations.

  • MAN AND HORSE:

    Approach to the horse: theoretical lesson (horse governance, anatomy, cloaks, gaits etc.);

  • THE CHESTNUT:

    Lesson on chestnut cultivation, chestnut and its use, derivation products and final harvest of the fruits in the neighboring chestnut groves (autumn).

  • COLORS, SOUNDS AND FRUITS OF THE FOREST IN AUTUMN:

    Guided naturalistic excursion in the neighboring forests and woods with observation of the autumn colors, flora (berries) and native fauna (footprints);

  • THE POISON IN NATURE:

    (plants and animals, toxicity as a defense)

  • MACROFAUNA:

    Lesson aimed at getting to know native fauna (wolves, ungulates, nocturnal and diurnal birds of prey, amphibians, reptiles, etc.) with slide-show projections and showing of stuffed animals;

  • WOLF AND VIPERS:

    myths and legends hand in hand;

  • MICROFAUNA:

    Lesson aimed at the knowledge of useful and harmful insects with projection of films, slides and use of insectaries;

  • APICULTURE:

    The bee, the beehive and the bee products. Honey processing and visit to a local beekeeping company (3 km from Valbonella). Lesson held with projection of films, slides and use of insectaries;

  • HONEY:

    signs of beekeeping, honey as a unique and irreplaceable food. Theoretical and practical lesson (panel test with various samples of honey) with the possibility of visiting with a short hike the FACCIANI company (30′ on foot);

  • BIODIVERSITY:

    THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL LESSON: from geology to the flora and fauna of the National Park of the Casentino Forests. Practical exercise at the Visitor Centre of Bagno di Romagna Park;

  • BOTANY:

    the main native species of our Apennines, recognition and guide to the realization of a mini-herbarium;

  • MYCOLOGY:

    Mycology lesson with reference to the regional law n.6 of 1996, edible and toxic mushrooms and the main recognition of fungal species; hike in the woods.

    a model to follow as landscape education and the interaction between man and the environment. Theoretical lesson on the daily life of the Egyptians up to the construction of the pyramids (use of slides and other didactic material).

    visit to the city of Sarsina and its National Archaeological Museum; educational workshops on Roman history (frescoes, bas-reliefs, mosaics, amphorae, paintings, etc.).

  • DISAPPEARANCE OF THE GREAT CIVILIZATIONS:

    MAYA, INKA, EGYPTIANS

  • AUSTRALIA:

    a model to follow as landscape education and the interaction between man and the environment. Theoretical lesson on Australian National Parks, animals and plants. The life of the aborigines. (Use of slides and other educational material).

  • ANCIENT CRAFTS: THE COALMAN

    Theoretical lesson on coal and visit to Valbonella’s coal hole and the hut of the charcoal burner;

  • SULFUR AND MINE:

    Ancient trades: the solfatara. Theoretical lesson on rocks and minerals and visit to the reconstructed mine (N.B. activity carried out at Perticara Mineralogical Museum 30 minutes from Valbonella) – admission fee;
